Competition and Crew · Market Intel
Your rank, by name. And the crews behind the companies above you.
Monthly and quarterly rankings of who filed the most permits in your county, by trade, with your own position on the list. Then the part most contractors never get to see: which subs those companies keep using, which general contractors hire your trade, and who just showed up.
Your rank among the licenses in your trade within 25 miles, your share of the permits in your ZIPs, and your 12 months against the median company.
Competition in Market Intel ranks the contractors in a Florida county by permits filed in a trade, monthly and quarterly, with the subscriber's own rank on the list. Crew shows the subcontractors on a company's jobs, the proven subs competitors keep hiring, the general contractors nearby who hire the subscriber's trade, and new contractors pulling permits in the area.

How Competition and Crew become sales
The leaderboard shows one company took 22% of the roofing permits in your county last quarter, all in three ZIPs. You stop advertising there and work the four ZIPs they ignore.
Crew shows the electrician a top GC used on 18 jobs this year just stopped appearing. There's an opening on that crew. You call the GC with your license and your permit count on the same screen.
A rival's qualifier license lapses. Their customers are about to need someone licensed, and you're the verified company they find.
New in Market lists a company that pulled its first permit in your county 30 days ago. Either you watch them, or you call them about subbing.
The leaderboard is a map of where the money went. Crew is the names of who moved it. Both are calls.
The leaderboard is the market, with names
Who filed the most roofing permits in Polk County last quarter, who grew, who faded, and where you sit. Open any company and you get its track record from the permit file: volume by month, where it works, the values it files at, and the licenses it holds.
Most contractors find out a neighborhood got busy when a rival's yard signs show up. This is earlier than that.
Crew: who actually does the work
Permits name subs. We stitch them together. Your crew page shows the subs who've worked your jobs and what they're doing now, the subs your competitors keep going back to, and the general contractors near you who hire your trade. When a GC you've worked under files something new in your county, you get a note.
When a rival's license is going
The DBPR file tells us when a license lapses or isn't renewed. We flag the ones in your trade and area. Their customers are about to need someone licensed, and you'll know before the customers do.

Questions contractors ask
Is the ranking by number of permits or by value?
Both are shown. The default is count, because value is blank in some jurisdictions and we won't rank on a column that's half empty.
Can other contractors see my crew page?
They can see what the public permit record shows about your jobs, the same way you see theirs. The contact details of permit filers are never shown on anyone's profile.
What counts as 'new' in New in Market?
A license whose first permit on record in that county is within the last 90 days.
How often do the rankings update?
The leaderboard is drawn monthly and quarterly from the permits on record, so a jurisdiction that posts late shows up late. The table says which period it covers.
Do I need Growth to see Crew?
No. Competition and Crew come with Market Intel. Growth includes them and adds Territory, Project Leads, Just Sold and Horizon.
